About this pink demogorgon print

Horror art has a colour problem. It is nearly always black, grey and blood red, so most of it only works in one kind of room. This pink demogorgon print does not carry that limitation.

The creature is still a creature. The head still opens into petals, still lined with teeth, still unmistakably the thing from the Upside Down. But in pink and lavender against deep red, it stops reading as a threat and starts reading as a specimen. Something illustrated, rather than something coming for you.

That shift is the entire reason the piece works.

Who tends to buy it

Mostly people who love the show and would rather their living room did not announce it. A framed pink shape reads as art from across a room. Then somebody walks closer, works out what they are actually looking at, and reacts.

That delay is the fun part. It also lands well as a gift, because fifteen dollars is an easy thing to hand somebody.

Size, paper and framing

The pink demogorgon print measures 8.5 by 11.5 inches, with a white border built into the image. So you can drop it straight into a frame without cutting a mat. Add one if you prefer more space around the artwork.

It ships flat and unframed from Raleigh, North Carolina. No frame comes with it.

The original, if you want it

I painted the original in acrylic on a 14 by 18 canvas, and only one of those exists. You can see The Pink Demogorgon original painting here.

This print exists so the image is not limited to whoever buys that canvas.
